    meguires paint protect?

    Meguiars Paint Protect

I saw this at the auto parts store the other day. From the directions you use it much like a coating and it says lasts up to a year.

    Anyone tried this? Curious!

applied to a couple of friend`s cars after a one step polish, but not impressed. gloss and shine were o.k, but not very good. claimed outstanding beading fell off very rapidly , even though the finishes still cleaned up easily. I consider myself a megs fan, but this one let me down. I`ve got an extra new bottle I can send you if you want to try it dc.

As much as I like Meguiar`s, save your money. Stick with either M21 or ultimate wax. I posted my review in threads on here before and also on Meguiar`s forum.

the smell is not bad. the liquid seems very oily and a little goes a long way. wipe on, let it set up 3-5 minutes and mf off. it does not haze up. cures in 24hrs.
