    Polish angel update Viking Coat

So far the Viking coat is standing up. It`s been almost 2 months and I though I`d post a few picks after my wash yesterday. I waited for the sun to go down to wash it so there are not sun shots but I think you can see the finish just fine.

The car looks great, beads pretty well. I do see some fall off in performance which is concerning to me. There were some dirt spots that took quite a bit or scrubbing to release. Something I`m not used to on a freshly coating car. Also my initial pre wash hose off left more dirty on the surface than I am used to. The master blaster dried it very easily dispite the drop in beading and the super sport rim coating is still beading well.

So far the best feature of this product remains the look. It`s a beauty coating. Most coatings are sealant looking. And this is very wax like looking.

    Thanks for looking.

    Where is this falling short?

Did you apply the spritz after application?

I have this (with the spritz) and cosmic, I am trying to decide which one to apply.

Supersport is really impressing me as well. I have had it on my wheels for about 4 months and its going strong. It was applied over permanon, and only cleaned with wash soap. I have had tire cleaners and citrus APCs on it from tire cleaning with no adverse issues.

I have white alabaster spray wax but have not done the whole car with it. I did one 1/4 panel and it look good but no better than the Viking coat. I`m into good looking maintenance minimal products so regular topping is not for me.

I`d buy a rejuvenator that was yearly buy not monthly or 4 times a year.

I`ll let the Viking run and see where it goes. Once I need to spray wax after each wash I`m out and onto something else.

Don`t get mr wrong. It`s still good just not as good as it once was compared to others I`ve used. Plus I`m picky.

    It looks great.

But it`s degrading after 2 mos of summer? Isn`t this stuff designed for the harshest winters? Lol. Collinite wouldn`t show any degradation after 2 summer months.

    Dunno.

Very Nice! I like how infiniti curves show off gloss - i got one too

I picked up Viking Coat and Viking Spritz a couple weeks back on a sale. Debating if i should do my G coupe or my 2006 325i.

I little concerning about the slight drop off you notice. I went through similar with Cosmic last year.

One really great coating if you like that deep wax look is Kamikaze ISM. It`s been on the G for about 5 months and it`s holding up great - both looks and performance.

It`s by no means trashed but it`s not as good as it once was on the horizontal surfaces. I`m committed to letting you all know what I see so it can help you. Also if your not seeing what I`m seeing I may need to. Rethink my process.

I think most coatings on the Esotric site are over priced simply because he is the exclusive distributor of the lines in the usa. I try to avoid getting hosed where possible. I know the gyeon and kamakazie products have a good following as I trust mike lambert 100 percent. I just don`t think they are worth that much of a premium over items I can get at a discount.

Some of my dealing with esoteric left me with a bad taste.

I`m really wondering about the drop off. Is there any way it could have already gotten crapped up somehow?

Wonder if a reset or apc wash would help...

I hear you on that. Well at least right now it`s a necessary evil as I now prefer it over C1/EXOv2 / CQuartz. Oh, and i only buy it when they get put for sale.

Now I also have some igreenlover quartz to play with.

Polish Angel stuff however is dumb proof as you can get which i like alot.
