    Cariloha Bamboo Towels

Hey guys, I figured I would spark a discussion on this. My wife and I were on vacation in the carribean and came across this company while shopping in Aruba. The hand towels were extremely soft, hyperalergenic, highly absorbant and ultra soft.

We didn`t buy any, not knowing anything about the company or the product, although the wheels in my head were turning. When I got home, I researched the company a little and thought I would throw this out there for some discussion.

Although a little pricey, I wonder how these would compare to microfiber. Although, containing 48% bamboo and 52% Egyption Cotton, these things were silky soft and silky smooth. Being super absorbant, maybe a good drying towel, or maybe even good for wax/polish removal???

I know, some of you are out there saying that "if" they are as good or even a little better than a good mf, why spend the extra money on them. I don`t have an answer to that, but thought this would spark a discussion. Perhaps if someone already has these, they can shed some light on their likes or dislikes about them, and if they would be good for detailing.

Of course, my wife is more interested in the bedroom set rather than towels for detailing...lol.

    Cool cool
i guess another question that can answer this is
how much softer is MF compared to cotton?
if its 2x as soft then its equal to bamboo lol

My wife bought the sheets and they do feel nice, but I don`t know if they feel 200 bucks nice.

    How heavy are these towels?

At 16" x 30", they would seem to be best suited as a drying towel. But it seems as though they could get pretty heavy once they absorb a lot of water.

When they are dry, they are suprisingly light, however, I have no idea how heavy when they are wet.
