Opti-Coat Gloss Coat experience

Why is there a warning not to use gloss coat on glass? I thought the opt coat 2.0 was put everywhere including side and back glass

Concerns over streaks and\or high spots upsetting your visibility mostly. 2.0 had the same warning. I don`t personally consider that to be a big concern since any application mistakes can easily be fixed with even the mildest of polish. Also, GC is noticeably slicker than 2.0 which makes it much better for windshields.

If I recall correctly the reason Gloss coat cannot be used on glass (specifically windshields) is that is will become damaged by the windshield wipers.
