Just thought I`d share since this turned out `nice for Silver. I first did Optimum on the car but something was missing so I dawn washed 2x and started over with Megs NXT 2.0. I used my PC to apply with a finishing pad on #3. I let it cure so to speak for a couple days , mainly because I didn`t have time to work on it. I then waxed with 2 coats of Megs #16 paste wax . Ive been maintaining with FK425 and Aqua wax . HOLY CRAP it came out sweet. Both the 425 and the AW seems to bond and lay just fine on the #16.

My other silver Toyota 4Runner (daily driver) stays with the Collinite line because I need good durability. I use all 3 products on the truck. 845 , 915 and 476s on the daily driver.

Glad it worked out for you.`` BTW --don`t waste your time with the "so I dawn washed 2x"` -- it`s been shown pretty conclusively that it doesn`t remove wax very well and doesn`t even touch a quality sealant.`` If you want to test it yourself--next time you do a Dawn wash and it appears all beading is gone--- dry the hood, give it an IPA wipe and you`ll see the beading returns.`` Dawn leaves a surfacant on the surface of the sealat`that causes the water to sheet smooth, but the IPA removes the surfacant.
