I`m getting ready to place an order for Opti-coat 2.0 and am doing everything possible to make my first application of this product trouble free. I have read about several application techniques but have found no reports from those using either the Opti Pro Applicator or the Opti Pro Dual Applicator. Makes sense to me that using these applicators might be the way to go in applying Opti Coat.

Anyone have experience with these pads?

Suede applicators that CarproUS uses for CQ should work well also.

I never had an issue with the yellow one it comes with, I always coat it again 3 hours later though just to ensure good coverage.

Opti Pro Dual Applicator use the hard side of the applicator. Works great and you have no problems applying. I use a small LED flashlight and check every inch for coverage.

Also Corey`s CarproUS Suede applicators with pad works well.

I like the blue MF covered foam pads from Wal-Mart. $2 for 2.

I use the black/blue applicators from OPT that you are referring to. I find them to work great. No complaints.
