Today I was able to finally get a chance to correct a car using HD polish and nothing else. This car was scheduled for a 1 step polish and I decided to use HD Polish. I have only done a few test panels with it and didn`t know exactly what I was getting into with it

Here you can see just above the tail lights the hazing that was all over the entire surface.

After HD Polish the hazing is removed. I did not move the camera for this, same shot, same angle.

Here you can see the right side of the gas cap is oxidized and hazy, the left side is corrected. All of this correction was acheived using a single pass.

Unfortunately, this picture didn`t come out as well as I like, but you can see how much correction I was able to get with a single pass of HD Polish.

My complete process was a single pass using HD Polish mated to a LC orange pad on my Rupes LHR15. The level of correction was GREAT, and the gloss was amazing. I probably got 85% correction after a single pass. Removal from the surface was lighting fast, and I noticed NO dust, in fact I went right to a wipe down and sealant. I got more dust from the sealant than I did from HD Polish.

    Thanks for looking...Greg Gellas

I really like HD polish. Seems to create a very wet look, easy to use, and provides good correction. Used it with a MF pad and was amazed at the results.

Total time of polishing was 2.5-3 hours. It was literally, work a small section, wipe, and move on. I wasn`t chasing any RIDS, or anything like that. Just a light enhancement polishing.

how many cars do you think you could do with the 16 oz bottle? i`m trying to decide between the 16 and the 32 oz bottle for my test run.

3 pea sized drops per section worked. Easily you could get 5 cars. I couldn`t tell you how much I used on just the 1 car so I can`t really say.

HD Polish is my favorite 3D polish (just got another quart in today), long working time, great cut for the amazing finish, its like a polish and final glaze in one. Works terrific with Optimum`s MF cutting and polishing pads. No dust, wipes off easily, water based.

The new top is great too, thanks to 3D for listening. :wavey
