    Normally , no.

    However, if there are some that don`t come off in normal washing, I pull out the VG-IS pad that is used in the ABC system and they are gone!

    Ron Ketcham- Yeah, the ValuGard Bug Pad (gee, I oughta just memorize that "VG-IS", huh?) is probably better, but a) I was happy to find a use for those Bug Sponges (sure won`t touch paint with `em!) and b) they seem a bit more aggressive than the VG-IS while still OK for auto glass...at least they`re that way until the Glass Cleaner softens `em up but I can usually get most of the job done before that happens.

    Well, sponges or a mf that`s kept separate from other wash media.

    I`ve stopped using my good mitts on bug-infested areas like the windshield.

    I am still tweaking my wash system!

    My good mitts are too gentle to get the bugs off windshields anyhow.
