I got one for Christmas, and I must say that it`s the single best product I`ve ever used. I`ve used alot (I mean alot) of different products, and I`m always willing to try something new. Due to the cost of the Autoscrub towel, I was very hesitant...but I must say that it`s amazing. Usually it takes me about 2 hours to clay my truck during winter driving due to all the extra crab on it. It took me 15 minutes to do it with the Autoscrab, and it was smoother than it`s ever been. The little rusty rail-dust spots that are pretty trouch to get with clay just wiped right off. There was even a couple spots that have been on my truck since I got it and clay would never take off...they came off too.

Just thought I`d let anyone who`s on the fence about buying one, that the Nanoskin Autoscrub towel is awesome, super easy, no maring, and something you`ll be glad you bought.

The towel or the pad for the DA? Both are made by nanoskin, but the towel is sold as SM Arnold Speedy Prep Towel and the DA pad is sold as the Nanoskin Autoscrub.

I have the towel, and I totally agree with you!!

I have a video review on the towel:

I got the towel(s) to test, found that I had marring issues with them for some reason. Just bought the Nanoskin Wash Mit (Fine Grade) and I see zero marring from it at all. I think I`ll stick with the mit.

That`s really odd as it is the same material. Maybe the mitt`s design allows for more even pressure?

That is my thought; the cushioning of the foam core in the mitt provides greater control, and helps keep more lubrication on the surface during use....

We have the pad and towels. WE do get marring, but 99% of the time time, it`s our step before at least a 1 step polish. The marring is quickly removed. Time savings are well worth the price and "look" after use. Metallics and some other paints do not seem to mar like dark colors.

I have a hard time believing someone can clay or decontaminate the embedded particulates by autoscrub pad/towel or anything that you actively rub on a surface and you not end up with some marring. The nature of rubbing anything on a less than perfected and contaminate free surface means those same contaminates you are removing are now between the material in your hand and the paint, which obviously causes marring. The best someone can do is continue to use as clean a surface as possible to decontaminate.

I was concerned with hearing about the marring issues with these towels but when I think about when I end up claying %99 of the time before some form of correction so I am not really concerned. I will more likely try the mitt version (fine grade).
