Looks interesting. I have always thought this type of product was a great way to protect a car on long trips using a application of clear or contrasting color as a bra.

Well given that it`s a growing trend in the custom scene, this certainly makes good sense that others are getting in on the action. Looks like this stuff is designed to be more temporary than Plasti-Dip, though?

I added a video to my OP of it being applied. Seems pretty simple to work with.

I know a dozen vehicles this would have saved from bug etching, or, it might be a dandy cover up since the damage is done.
All I have in this world is my word, and my balls and I don`t break `em for no one, you understand?"

David, I tested this product and I let the photos to do all the talking, maybe in mate black is a different story but in clear ( Which is what I needed) it simply killed the shine, yes, very easy to apply and way to easy to peel off but losing the shine was enough to put the can away for me. I`m disappointed because I do need a temporary solution since the Lexus dealer wants $700.00 for a clear bra.

That sucks. Looks as if they need to go back to the drawing board.

Not surprised, AA has been putting out some real crap lately. All their new stuff is one notch above As-seen-on-TV crap, its almost as if they are hoping people buy this stuff and just don`t bother returning it.
I`m returning mine! that`s for sure!
Getting back to the original video...I thought pulling off the masking when it was still wet was a good tip. I have always struggled with making a clean visible edge using PlastiDip and wonder if that trick would work on it as well.

It would be very difficult to formulate such a product and sell it at a reasonable price with a "shine".
There are some products that have been used in the FRP industry for decades that have a nice gloss, unfortunately, due to the solvent systems those use, they would permenantly damage a vehicle`s finish.
That is not a problem with gel coat.
Hello,
That`s looks cool i will definitely try this on my car...
