It`s my first post, so I`m wondering if I`m just out of the loop but how come no one here is talking about it?

New version is out and here`s what they said on their product page:

    Rinse Free Wash

    Latest Formula Change Feb 2012

It`s only been two years since we reformulated the most revolutionary detailing product made, but Dr. G has done it again! Better cleaning while remaining safe and more gloss without sacrificing the attributes you`ve grown to love...the 2012 release of No Rinse Wash & Shine will be your first choice for rinse-less washing. If you are new to rinseless washing, there`s never been a better time to try it!

    Autogeek is claiming:

The latest Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine formula for 2012 offers greater slickness, ease of use, and protection!

I wonder if anyone has gotten it yet to try it out. My friend ordered it last night so I`ll check it out when he gets it. It`d be cool if someone can do a side by side comparison test

Yes, MUCH more slickness! I used it Sat. My mitt was sliding along the paint differently than the previous version. Shine was good as well. You will not be disappointed. Also, I had streaking issues on glass before, but was told this version will not streak glass.

LOL... only worked on paint. I use something different on glass to wash. A bit OCD, but I`m used to it. I did not `test` the new ONR on my glass. The other detailer that was there said he has no issues when used with distilled water.

    - I did wipe the glass from the caddy spray, but did not pay that much attention. Also, I used Invisible Glass for a video segment, but was promoting towels and the IVG, not ONR.

I got my gallon already. Definite increase in slickness, has a really silky feel when you dry it. Seems to clean even better as well. Looks like I`m using up version 2 on wheels and tires and the new version on paint.

The gallon I got had a sticker on it that said "new formula".

The color and scent haven`t changed but it does seem to have a bit more viscosity.

I`m betting the new formula is close to Opti Clean. OOC is one of the best waterless washes I`ve used. Almost knocked me out of a wax upgrade due to it`s looks and slickness!

Ok, thats what my bottle says. I know when I placed an order about 2 weeks ago Chis mentioned a new batch was coming out. I just assummed that they ran out of the formula they had. Been faithful to QEW, but never could really take advantage of it as a clay lube to speed up my work. Definitely looking forward to giving this ONR a try.

I hope not, cause OOC streaks glass.

Looking forward to trying V3 but I`m in the same boat as many of the other forum members, still have a lot of V2 left. I will say I haven`t been disappointed yet with any of the Optimum products I`ve tried so far.
