    Anyone have anything that they are really happy with for removing carbon buildup inside exhaust tips?

    A medium thinner or strong alcohol and vinegar solution

    Can be tough for caked on build-up. I`d go after it with a mixture of some APC and a lightweight wire brush, then work it on down to 00000 steel wool. Once you have them clean, make sure to keep them clean or you`ll be in for a workout again.

    SOS pad should work nicely. Then if you want the outside shiney a metal polish will be needed.
