Aluminum Wheel Polishing Kits

Hey, it`s been a REALLY long time since I`ve logged on but I bought a car with severely neglected american racing torq thrust II`s. I really don`t know what`s good anymore and was thinking I would try and pick up an over the counter wheel polishing kit. I however don`t know what the best way to go is, a mothers powerball..meguiars?? Please fill this clueless user in.
