Been searching but most threads i`ve seen have been on restoration, more so than protection.
Any waxes or polishes that I could use to protect and keep a shine on taillights and headlights?

Just use whatever you are using on the paint. I treat mine just like the rest of the car (ie. they get the same clay/polishing/waxing as the paint does when I detail it) and they stay looking great.
I put Opti-Coat on mine. I polish them then strip them of any oils and then I coat them. That offers you the best protection IMO.

Headlights also?
Will these procedures help protect against the UV damage that headlights seem to get after a few years?
I just use my regular LSP too, but I sure won`t argue with using OptiCoat.
Datacom, see a product called Plexus. It would be fine to use weekly. Been around for years, works as advertised.
