Just trying to determine which products are better:

Prewax Cleaners: Zymol HD Cleanse or Klasse All-in-One or Pinnacle PaintWork Cleaning Lotion

Glaze: Wolfgang finshing glaze or poorboy`s glaze for dark cars.

Paint Sealant: Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant or Klasse high Gloss Sealant

Wax: P21s or Zymol Concours or Zymol Destiny

The Zymol stuff looks great but I’m not sure if it is worth it. Zymol prices are relatively extremely high.

    Does anyone here use Zymol?

If you guys use different products let me know. All feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advanced.

Of the ones mentioned I have only used Klasse AIO, but I can say that it works really well as a prep/cleaner wax.

    rajrules- Welcome to Autopia!

Note that the various products you mentioned aren`t really equivalent. Eh, this isn`t gonna be as well organized as I`d like, but here`s some food for thought (I`m only gonna comment on products I`ve acutally used, so no Wolfgang, for instance):

KAIO is great for use when the finish is basically perfect (zero marring) and oughta be used if your LSP (Last Step Product) is gonna be KSG.

If you`re using KSG, don`t use anything except the KAIO beforehand- *NO* glazes.

Pinnacle PCL is *VERY* similar to Zymol HDC. Both leave a little something behind, something kinda "glaze like". So I myself would`t use them before another glaze and I would only use waxes over them (not sealants).

I consider P21s wax to be highly overrated and IMO it`s not in the same class as those Zymols. But I don`t think 99% of serious car guys would see any diff between "fancy" waxes and good old Collinite (and I have stories from concourses to back that up).

I don`t top KSG with waxes as a) the improvement in looks is pretty minimal and more importantly b) it precluded the future layering of additional KSG, which IMO is the primary reason to use KSG in the first place.

You left out any mention of prepping the paint, and IMO that (even just your choice of finishing polish) is infinitely more important than your choice of LSP. And different paints will call for different final polishes.

Junebug- Seems like people are using the HD Poxy over all sorts of things these days...everyone seems to like that stuff once they try it.
