I recently picked up a 32 oz bottle of HD Proxy and went to use it today. The product is super thick even after shaking the bottle repeatedly. I even had a heck of a time getting it out of the bottle.

I have always stored it in a cool basement with no temperature extremes.

How should this product be? Did I possibly get a bad bottle?

Yeah. Mine was thick too. I was almost ready to post the same thing you did. Just not used to a sealant being that think I guess.

Hint - use it just like you`d use Blackfire. Apply 3-4 small drops on either a red of gold LC pad and apply a very think layer. Almost just until you can`t see any being deposited on the surface. Then apply 3 more drops and continue. You won`t need more than 12-16 dabs of product to do a 4 door vehicle.

This is exactly how I used to use NXT and this is what I did yesterday on my truck.

Ya`ll know me, I applied a lot more and it was a bit more effort to remove but I thought the results were damn good!
