What is the best water spot remover? I live in an area with hard water and a lot of customers like to quickly hose off (and not dry) their vehicles in-between details. They leave them in the sun to dry which bakes the water dry off the car and but it leaves behind the minerals. They generally don`t want to pay for correction and I`m seeing a lot of it on door jambs (which is very hard to correct anyway). The lawn sprinklers are also a major problem with vehicles that sit outside!

I need a spray and wipe solution. Which one is best?

....I had success with Chemical Guys WSR but as far as what is "best", I`m afraid my experience is fairly limited. I simply don`t run into that many situations where I need one (I don`t do this professionally). Maybe a decontamination system like Valugard or from FinishKare might be a better/economical solution for you?

Have you tried a 1:1 vinegar/water solution or just straight vinegar? Rub in the vinegar. Let it sit for 60 seconds. Rinse off. Of course, neither vinegar nor any other water spot remove will correct any etching that the minerals may have caused, but hopefully you will have caught the spots in time.

+1 for mx7. ive only tried maybe 4-5 others, but mx7 for paint is awesome and it also melts down and smooths out industrial fallout a little kinda like a weak ironcut. u can really see it melt down fresher fallout on white bumpers. their one for glass is not bad. has chemical and abrasives. dusts up like a mofo on high speed polishing though. its similar to duragloss nu-glass..

anyway for door jams mx7 is the ****. you can just follow up with a quick IPA wipe then spray something like dodo red tropical mist. ive been trying to use up my stock of kaio which also works well.

Where do you buy MX-7 water spot remover if you don`t happen to live in HI? I looked on their website and it is only sold in HI. I don`t see any online retailers that carry this product. Where do you get it?

50/50 vinegar/water solution. Dwell 30-60 seconds. Usually at least softens hard water deposits up enough that you can polish them out via DA polisher. Huge problem around here, lots of black cars and stupid businesses that run sprinklers during the day.

I still have not found MX product. I contacted the owner of the company several months ago and he is not returning any of my emails or calls. Are there any re-sellers who have this product? I need it now. I can`t keep waiting.
