Not sure how it compares to something like the Tornador -- but this gun is pretty handy and effective with minimal investment:

Amazon.com: Air Engine Cleaning Gun: Home Improvement

I bought one at Home Depot in their air tools department (Husky SKU# 399-897). I can`t find that one online, but the Amazon link is similar if not identical. I suspect most Home Depots stock it even though it doesn`t seem to be listed online. I stumbled upon it looking for a simple air gun -- it took me a minute to figure out what it was. This thing is life changing for something like cleaning fender wells. I hit the fender wells first with blasting Catstrol APC/degreaser followed by sudsy water with Dawn mixture and it worked unbelievably well. It`s also great for engines or anything else that can stand high pressure (would not use it on anything delicate).

I`ve got a couple of these. I find they atomize the product too much, just turn it in to a fog rather than a spray.
