Based on the bottle of Z-CS I got (not sure if it was a reformulated version or not), Opti-Seal is a much better product. Noticeably more gloss and shine and cheaper per ounce.

Durability and ease of use are similar.

i have the zcs and only use it on my wheels.

not matter what kind of aplicator i use not matter how little or how much i use it allways leaves a resedue.

i allways have to wipe the car back down after several hours and i havent tryed the opti seal so i can say but i really dont like the zcs.

Use a foam applicator and you will get no residue. Try a test, put them both on a shelf for a while, one will become non clear, try it.

With proper surface prep(i.e. clean finish) what can one expect to see durability wise with either product?

ZCS will streak if it comes in contact with water but eventually the streaks disappear. Both are good products but I suspect that ZPC has the better UV system.

I`ve used both over the last year. Opti-Seal seems to last a little longer, but neither is a match for conventional wax, or sealant.

    Very interesting.

Which products do you prefer over these sealers?
