The problem i have with these products is that once they are compromised you have to clean the wheels, often with a cleaner to get them back to a condition where you can reapply it with out "sealing in" brake dust etc. Often we are talking 3 weeks or less on performance brakes!

Personally thats why i find a durable sealant like EGP works so well, yeah it wont repel brake dust like its a polor oppersite. But what does build up wipes away in a second, month after month before its compromised.

Thats months, before im back with wheel cleaners and lots of brush time! Other wise its a mitt and ez detailer for the barrels at the wash stage for me.

Cant help but recommend a spritz of UQD on the wheels after the sealant as it inhibits build up even more! Also EGP is water like, easy to apply with a finger applicator!

I will see how this fairs if and when i get my hands on some!

Back of the can says protective barrier repels brake dust, dirt, and road grime. Last up to four weeks.

Well if it doesn`t repel brake dust we know it repels honey. LOL

Interesting product with little work to be involved with. I like that. Getting lazy to clean my meshed wheels. Keep us posted on the outcome!

    My luck Killer bees. :lol

The video on detailingbliss shows it works.

Another poster over there said he used it on his father in-laws truck two weeks ago and it did a great job on preventing brake dust.

I guess I`ll go out and see how it does.

Works fairly well BUT the coating is sticky after initial application. I`m hoping it`ll go back to normal tomorrow though. Its like dipping it in silicone in a way

I agree, it is a bit harder to clean the wheels, though I don`t find I need wheel cleaner, just a bit more scrubbing. Without this stuff, my wheels are black in a week, which means I need to wash 3 times as much, so it is a fair tradeoff in my book.

$8+ at Checkers here. Can says it covers four wheels and last four weeks.

For that price ($96 a year) I think Chemical Guys has some better sealants

It left some white streaks on my wheels. I wiped them off after letting product sit overnight. We`ll see how it does.

Hello everyone. Today I bought a can and sprayed half of a wheel to do a comparison.

The directions were pretty simple. I did clay bar the wheel as an added step so that I would have a clean surface to work with. It also mentions to let your car sit at least an hour to properly dry. I will post an update in 7 days maybe sooner.

The wheel in the picture is on my 2006 A4.

If a can only coats four wheels I`ll probably pass. My EBC yellows wash off Zaino pretty easily and it lasts over 6 months on wheels.
