Just wanted to let everyone know about a purchase I made this past weekend. Home Depot is having a sale on these. They are normally $43.00. They are only $39.00 right now.

It`s been rough buffing the roofs of SUV`s and Trucks. I have only had a small step ladder up to this point and I have almost killed myself plenty of times. It may not be tall enough to do very high lifted vehicles, but this thing is nice because it allows you to walk along it as you work. It is also lightweight for easy carrying. It seems very sturdy and it has made my last detail a lot easier and safer.

    Has anyone else used it?

Looks like a cool product, however only allowing a load of 225Lbs might be a bit week, especially looking at some of us guys who are easily hitting the 200Lb mark, then adding overhead we may run into safety load issues.

I have two to reach the top of my wife`s SUV. They`re great. I believe they were a Black Friday special for $25.00 IIRC. Of course, I already had 2 that I paid full price for. LOL

I am about 235 too. It seemed to hold me no problem.....

I am probably going to get myself in trouble for that comment :nervous:

I am hoping that it is a typo on the website: they state the height is 6 inches?

Just look out if/when it gets wet; it`ll get slick as hell.

Very true nick. I layed down grip tape on it. Worked like a charm.

I think the platform itself is about 12-13 inches wide. It stands about 21" tall I think. Here is a link to the Werner website, it has all kinds of dimensions.....

I bought a roll of anti-skid tape there as well - the ladder gets real slippery when it`s wet.

That is about the height when the legs are folded. That is a confusing descriptoin on HD`s website.
