On my Yukon I have 2 layers of KSG and 2 layers of Colly`s 845, I usually use FK425 or Meg`s UQD in between washes, I am wondering if the Ultimate Quik Wax will sit on top of the 845 without causing problems? I have been using the quik wax for jams and under the hood and want to see how it looks on the rest of the paint but don`t want to screw up the other lsps.

There shouldn`t be any problems using the Ultimate Quik Wax over the 845. It`s a nice combo that I`ve tried out before.

No problem uqw seems to work well with everything I`ve tried.

If your used to the look of FK 425 I think you`ll find Megs uqw will have more depth

    but less gloss.

Megs tech Email just told me the Ultimate spray wax contains no waxes, just polymers. It`s main goal is for upkeep.

I`m not trying to hijack a thread, but seems you got your answer, and I don`t really want to start a whole thread about the same thing, so here it go`s. I`m not new to LSP`s but new to Collinite(Love it). What about DG Aqua Wax over Collinite? I`ve applied it to some test panels and love the look, just don`t want to mess up anything under it.

I have used aqua wax over just about every combo I`ve tried. From carnauba`s to sealants with no problems. I have Collinite on one of my cars right now, and when the time comes I`ll apply AW over the top.

You will however lose the tight beading of Collinite. It will take on the beading properties of AW. By the way. AW is a polymer sealant.

    Hope this helps.

IMO, for a spray wax, Meg`s UQW has awesome beading/slickness/durability...great product (except for the `too-fine-a-mist` sprayer).

    meg`s over 845 should be fine ...

btw ... 845 lasts longer during the winter time when I coat it with OCW after every wash with ONR.

you won`t regret it ... If I had to choose only one LSP this one would be it. It`s my favorite for DDs

UQW looks great over 845. One of my favorite combos, and EASY!
