WOWA Product Q`s

Ok, I just now figured out what "WOWA" even ment. Never knew they existed. Can someone give me a 411 cram course on this type of sealant/finish? Please. I can`t believe how much has changed in 10yrs in this world of detailing. 10yrs ago I don`t think MicroFiber was even heard of, if it was... not a lot of folks even knew what it was. I am eyeing this type of finish b/c of the time savings!! 15 minutes ago I`m looking at DG 105 and Mothers Reflections combined with DG AW and MSW. How do these products (wowa) hold up in the sun and elements? I`m assuming you can use them after a good wash each month? So... clay bar 2x/yr, wash every month and WOWA after each wash. ?? Man that would be a dream come true. :chuckle:

EDIT- Just visited Ultima`s site. That`s what I`m talking about, time saving. I noticed they have a paint cleaner instead of a clay bar. Which is a better bet, the Ultima or typical claybar kit?

When I use Ultima/Optiseal, I take a 16x16 towel, fold it in half, then fold it again. On a driver side door, for example, I spray 1 shot on the towel and start going over the paint. I go left to right, up and down and left to right again, making sure I don`t miss a spot . Done. Thats what works for me to get pretty much no streaking with Ultima/Optiseal. You can use it after every wash if you want.

Looks like I`ll stick with the regular clay bar, but am eager to try the Ultima sealant/finish. I think this might answer my time constraint issue also.

so now after all the debating and researching it`s DG 105 & AW or Ultima. I like the time savings of the Ultima system. Never really need to wax the car.

I use a regular clay bar but have never used the Ultima offering.

And I see no reason to limit yourself to one option. You can never have enough LSP`s.

I love UPGP. Its so easy, as you have mentioned, and super fast. I layer that stuff on after every wash.

AW also is a great spray wax, but its not quite as fast or durable in my opinion. I got AW awhile back and loved it, but its has almost been completely replaced by UPGP.

I prefer Zaino Clear Seal as a WOWO. Follow with Z8 and that combo can`t be beat.

My favorite WOWA. Cheaper by the ounce and it looks better to my eyes than UPGP.

Anyone want to enlighten me as to what WOWA means? I can`t find the definition in this thread, and I the Secret Decoder Ring doesn`t tell me anything about it. The decoder ring also didn`t show up when I searched titles for "decoder ring".

I just assumed it was WOWO, wax-on wax-off [away?]

Edit, just saw the previous post and that makes sense. Especially when the OptiSeal was used as an example.
