Worked a 2007 Mustang Convertible in red today, the car was covered with heavy swirls, and scratches from a cat on the bonnet and boot/trunk. I used Menz Power Finish on a Sonus White 4 inch and literally nothing happened. Worked the same panel again and very little change. So, I brought out Megs UC and again a white Sonus 4inch and again very little happened. Thought I was going mad as either of these combo`s would usually set me up to finish the panel with Menz Final on Sonus 4 inch red before sealing. In the end I had to work each panel about 7 times before I got it to where I was almost happy, but not perfect.

Do Mustangs have a hard clear coat as I`m in the UK and dont work many as it is an import, need some help from my US Autopians!

    Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Mustang here in the states use a Med CC finish. I doubt Ford would change there CC for exports.
