Seriously considering picking up one of the Gilmours on Amazon since they aren`t that much more than a cheapo. I also looked at a foam lance, but those are pricey.

Anything in-store that`s comparable to the Gilmour? If not, which version should I get? I`ll be using CG CWG. Thanks.

75QGFMR or 95QGFMR depending on if you want brass or plastic, I like brass.

Make sure you get one with `MR` at the end of the part number- it indicates an adjusable ratio setting.

I bought that on Amazon (with brass). I haven`t had any problems with it so far, and it looks identical to the ones with logos, so I figured they are the ones who made them and people are paying an extra 10 bucks for the name. I haven`t seen anything just like it in store, all they have are those crappy yellow ones that look like a regular spray nozzle and those do a terrible job. I don`t know if spending 45 bucks for foam gun was worth it, but if you really, really, want one, the one you saw on Amazon is a good buy.

I have the brass ones, but I can`t help but wonder if the plastic versions might not be better for some people (depending on their water). Brass can corrode, but plastic won`t.

How much soap are you using for an average car? Especially for the CWG 1oz-4gal dilution.
