Is there a wax and car shampoo on the market that has anti-static capabilities. My current collection of waxes/sealants & car soap seem to attract a nice layer of dust in a matter of hours.

I found FK products when doing a search. They look very interesting and I`m considering buying some of their products and giving them a try.

If you consider that while wiping the car you are creating some static electricity, then it is almost impossible not to attract some dust...The FK 425 works good enough for me though , but don`t imagine that there will be no dust at all

What makes the car attract dust during the detailing process is the MF. It creates a static charge to the car. When cleaning the QD or wax off of the car. I even get shocked sometimes from removing wax. Especially when the MF is new, they give the most static charge.

FK425 a lot better then most other QD sprays out there. Leaves the surface very slick and slippery also no dust accumulation for about 4days compared to next day with CG`s synthetic ultra shine QD and Meg`s QD.

There is dust but not as highly visible the next day as the other two QD`s I mentioned. It takes about 4 days to get to the same noticeable amount with the vehicle parked in the same area at work. The vehicle also has 4 coats of FK1000P on it.

No matter what I use, I end up getting a lot of dust on my vehicles. imo nothing I`ve used, and " I`ve used just about every wax, and QD out there" really work all that well in the summer.

Especially on a black car or truck.
