Finally giving 476 a try (being sitting on my shelf for over a year). Have it on a few customer cars and my own. Nice shine and beading is incredible. So far clean up is also very easy.

This idea just popped into my head, but what about marine application waxes? Seems like they`d have to be designed to withstand the worst of conditions. I don`t know if there are any contraindications for car paint. Meguiars makes a nifty looking marine wax.

as others mentioned... collinite or duragloss would be good options. no complaints about DG105 (what she is currently wearing at the moment) or any DG products for that matter...

Some of the Advanced Autos around here (Buffalo) are stocking Collinite now. Pleasantly surprised.

Don`t forget Collinite 915. It`s a tad less durable than 476, but looks better and is a little easier to remove. I just put on a layer on my Subaru an hour ago.

Ahhh LSP, for me, the best part of detailing!

Never seen 915 OTC, though... I agree that it`s a better wax than 476.

I just wanted to let everyone know I checked carquest for the collinite and they didn`t have it. They did say I could probably find it at arnold`s motor supply but I didn`t want to go to a town that has one. I ended up going to napa and having them order me a thing of duragloss 111 which will be in tomorrow and only costs 10 dollars.

    Thanks everyone.
