perma-plate or meguiars??

H to everybody first. New member here. I have a question. I bought the perma plate for my black cadillac sts. I was wondering should I use the soap they provide made by them or use my meguiars gold class instead?? which is better? I know the perma plate stuff is more expensive.

Well, I`m no expert, but you probably got ripped off.

My advice is that you use the power of the innernets and buy yourself some Zaino Z7 or Griot`s Car Wash to wash your car.

Maybe somebody with real experience with the product will come along to answer your question. Just my $.02 - newbie to newbie.

Soap brand isn`t nearly as important as wash method. Spend a few hours hear reading posts, my first suggestion is

What he means is you probably paid $500 for someone to put sealant (synthetic wax) on your new ride when you could have done it yourself for ~$20.

I`d check with them to see if you used anything other than their soap if it will hinder your warranty. I strongly suggest reading through the entire contact and making sure what`s expected of you to maintain the warranty. Ask lots of questions if in doubt.
