Went to look for Prep-All at Walmart today and instead found a quart of Rustoleum Wax & Tar remover. Need to try it out this weekend.

Hmm. You can get a jug of IPA at walmart for less than $2. Mix it with a jug of $1.09 distilled water.

Just curious why you got this instead.

Others mentioned the use of Prepsol. I guess that got me curious.

I use some Presta products which seem to be solvent based so I would think the Wax & Tar remover would remove residue easier.

Hmmm... maybe I can also use it to remove TAR deposits?

What else..... oh, I can use it to remove wax from my van`s body panels so I can test other waxes/sealants.

    Use it for paint prep.

Well, those are just some of the things that come to mind right now.

Let us know how it works. IPA is good stuff, but maybe this will worked better on thick baked on stuff.
