Does anyone find this to collect dust ?

It seems like this product is MEGS answer to AW , spray sealant .

You like it or not ??

Smells nice, cleans well, and adds a little durability to the LSP. Looks are OK, nothing spectacular. I find that is does not attract that much dust. I think AW gives you more.

All of the above!! AW is just a better overall product to me. However, when topping Meguiar`s products (#20, 21, or #26) UQD does well.

I agree about AW . I am actually going over Megs 21 with this , just undecided on what to use .

Use the UQD. #21 to me does not need much added to it. It the shine, depth and durability are good on its own. What the UQD will do for you is clean the vehicle, it may darken it a bit, and add a little gloss. UQD does do well with boosting the durability as well.

AW and UQD are supposed to be totally different products. AW is a spray wax/sealant for all intents and purposes where UQD is a detailer. AW will give much more protection and durability as that`s what it is intended to do. UQD is for a quick wipe down for appearnace mainly.

Not really according on how they market it on the bottle . Hydrophobic Technology Polymer , beads water , offers protection , ect...

^I find it interesting that people keep thinking AW is some kind of QD when its not. Is there something wrong with their marketing or is the name misleading I wonder?

Think of AW as you would OCW or AJT. Its a pretty good sealant and I use it when I am pressed for time, its a lot quicker than breaking out the hand pads and spreading something. I can`t see how UQD can compete with it

They are correct about AW. #921 Fast Clean & Shine is Duragloss`s direct equivalent to UQD. AW is seen as a QD by most because many times it gets compared with Zaino Z8. AW is meant to be applied after a wash on a wet car and the protection can last 2 months from what some have claimed. UQD is also a rare type of QD that actually touts its durability as an advantage.

Knowing this information is why I suggested that you use UQD instead of AW. They are not directly competitive products although I could see how they could be confused for doing the same duty. AW should only be used after a car wash, UQD however can be used on a dry or wet car, and it can also be used to clean the dust off.

Yes it beads water but so do a lot of other "detailers". Different products.

AW can also be used on a dry car as a QD wowo product. ( per Bill at DG ) That is the only way I`ve ever used in in the last 2 years.

I am not disagreeing that it can be used in other ways, but just that it is not "technically" in the same family of product as UQD. I use AW when I am drying the car over Opti-seal.

I still suggest in your case using UQD though.

It might be meg`s ultimate QD but it`s not THE ultimate QD.
Car care/detailing sadly isn`t high on the agenda for 98% of australians.
