Poorboy`s Trim Restorer

I used this for the first time today, and WOW! I was absolutely blown away.

I`ve never used something that will make grey faded doorhandles/bumpers look BLACK that easy, that fast.

If you`ve never tried it, do it!

For those that have tried it, have you used anything that works as well ? Or better?

Before this Poorboy`s Bold `n Bright was the best thing I`ve used for trim... and now I realize thats like using water to make it black... haha!

I have some and thought it was too siliconie... LOL. Like a glossy tire dressing

I am in love with Top Of The Line Trim Products. I use only two. GR-40 to clean my trim and then Bumper & Molding Renew.

It`s a pretty solid product, with some caveats. It can run in the rain, sometime it hides wax residue that "comes back" later, it sometimes attracts dust.

As a pro, I`d rather dye trims (upcharge), but I sure do love the way TR looks. If you get your hands on an Avalanche, Element or another car with a lot of trim, it makes the plastic look far better than it did when new.

I totally agree that it`s a nice product. I was working on a couple of cars this past weekend with John (Eliot Ness) and he had a bottle. I just got my Black Wow, so I`m going to see how they compare.

John used it on two wiper blade arms that were pretty old and neglected....They turned out really well. It`s definitely a product that I wouldn`t mind spending money on.

I have a bottle of this stuff too. Used it on a Jeep Wrangler I had and it lasted forever. Even rained the day after I applied it!

I have to start by saying that I have only used Mothers Back to Black and

ArmorAll. PB Trim Restorer is much better. It is like oil, tanning oil.

Australian Gold Tanning oil to be exact. Even smells like it. However

when applied with an applicator and then buffed with a MF towel, then

next day and for awhile after that (week + easy) it looks great. I have

been using it for interiors and they look great and the car smells great.

No air freshener needed.

Another Trim Restorer fan here. It`s one of my favorite products in my collection. It`s very effective and it can be layered for even better trim restoration. I`m not a big fan of Poorboy`s product line in general, but they really have a superb product in Trim Restorer. Just out of curiosity, does anybody know how it compares to the several CG`s plastic conditioners?
