The black magic titanium tire gel is nasty stuff it`ll build up and collect dirt so bad. And is very difficult to remove, it needs heavy scrubbing even with commercial degreasers. I mean look at the stuff it`s as thick as bardahl`s no smoke.

Armor All Extreme Shine Gel is a great product! It looks good, and a bottle does last forever! I``ve done no telling how many tires with the bottle I bought. I can`t even remember when I bought it either, but I think it`s been close to a year.

    Mother`s F/X is great too.

I use the meguiars hot shine... with an Eagle one sponge applicator... It gives it a sheening looking but you can turn it to matte by wiping it down with a cloth.

Does it matter if you use the gel, spray, or aerosol version of the Armor All Extreme Tire Shine?

I`ve used it three or four times. Each time I have had a terrible problem with sling. The last time I used it I did not drive until the NEXT DAY and the sling was just as bad. I applied a thin coat only each time. The tires look great but I don`t like the spots the entire length of the side of my black Boxster!

Anybody had a similar experience or have a suggestion of what to do differently?

Best way to reduce sling is a dry tire. If I want to ensure very limited sling, I shoot air all over the tire to rid the tire of any water. Then light even coats of shine seem to be the best! For my tires, I have such a great base of shine that a very small amount is enough to bring it back to being super shiny.

Meguiar`s NXT Insane Tire Shine Tire Coating is the best product I have ever used. Incredibly durable, great shine!

I`ve used a few in my time, in order of favorite to least:

    1. Sonus Tire Gel

    2. ArmorAll Extreme Shine

    3. NXT Tire Gel

    4. Turtle Wax F21 Spray

    5. Meguirs Extreme Gel

Obviously the Sonus is quite expensive relative to the ArmorAll, so the ArmorAll is the best bang for buck.

Wow I think this is the one and only armour all product "real" detailed ever recommended lol.

I`m gonna try No Touch again, used it in the past but can`t remember if there`s sling. I know it has a much more matte look.

Do these OTC tire shines all have Protectants In them to match with the shine?!? Cause that is equally, if not new important then the shine.
