Just ordered the Danase Wet Glaze and their pure polish, Going to use them on my 200 Honda Prelude and then top with a couple of coats of Z-5 and followed up by Z-2. Hopefully I will figure out how to post the pics after I am done. If this works as well as I hope I will use this process on my Mustang. Check out the process and let me know if you think I need to add. Thanks Superbee for the reply, ordered after I got some back up.

    Process:

Zaino scratch and Swirl remover with PC and 4 inch orange pad (one or two passes)

Danase pure polish with 6 inch blue (all pads are edge 2000) pad.

    Danase wet glaze by hand

Zaino Z-5 and quick activator (cannot remember what number they list for this stuff) at least 2 layers maybe 3.

Zaino Z-2 by hand as well maybe 2 layers the next weekend

Zaino QD between all coats of Zaino product and topped by Zaino Quick Sealent.

    What do you think??

I like DWG and use it with Opti Seal and UPGP to good effect

I suspect some will chime in with issues about using Z5 over it though, but I`m still a Zaino virgin so wont comment....

    Hello

There are no bonding issues with DWG and Z5 IME.

However, Zaino is a good sealant for giving a true look of bring out the best in paintwork. DWG, darkens paintworks, lends itself to a faux wet (induced) finished and doesnt allow metalics to pop as well as they would through a coat or two or Z5.

So with that in mind you are some what altering the Zaino experince, which is a long life, amazingly good looking sealant that might be hard to tell the difference between it and Nuba.

So its more like, you wont be enhancing Zaino, sounds like product cram and you will end up with a different look. You may like it but most would be better of with pure Zaino im sure.

Throw some stuff up in CnB when your done.

Wouldn`t you go from DWG to Z2? Doesn`t Z5 has some cleaning ability? Anycase I think 3 coats you `ll be fine for a while and do not need another 2 coats the next weekend. Sounds like more of a waste then anything
