Ok, what in the world is the difference between the TOL purple foam wool pad, and the AG purple foam wool pad.
Supposedly AG`s is 1" thick, and TOL is 3/4" thick. Is it going to make a huge difference?

they are from the same manufacturer so they should be the same just a typo on someones part on either website
Actually, on the Lake Country web site, there is a 3/4" and 1" available. So it may not be a typo.
Check Lake Country again.

Hmm...is the foam wool pad better than just foam? Or would you just use wool (or the foam wool) for really tough corrections?
Foamed wool is for cutting with a compound. It`s more efective than foam-and safer on edges and ridges.
I`ve order these pads from AG and TOL, there is no difference in the pad, however, TOL is 4 bucks cheaper than AG per pad, even with the 3 pac or 6 pack deals from AG, TOL is still cheaper. I just verified this before posting.
Are you using it with a PC or a rotary?Originally Posted by wannafbody
