Just got a tin of Collinite #885, at a marine store in Halifax, so of course I had to try it out. Very easy to use with a damp applicator, came off really easy, and left a very slick surface behind. I`ve heard it is very long lasting, as if I need that, as frequently as I put something else on the car. However I am very pleased with it ease of use, an did half the car with no noticable amount disappearing from the can, so it should last a long time.

I have it too. It`s 476 in a bigger tin.

If 476 wasnt already good value for a long lasting wax this is even better as it often only costs a few bucks more!

Baker- Glad you like it! Wait until you live with the beading and dirt-shedding for a while, that`ll *really* impress you And yeah, the durability is great.

Be a *little* careful if you decide to layer it. I just had my first case of "pseudo holograms" from a second coat doing a solvent-action or something on the underlying coat. Nothing a little QD couldn`t fix, but it was a reminder to use some kind of spit-shining technique if applying multiple coats of wax in a short timeframe (I did that on the rest of the vehicle and it prevented the problem).

Good to hear - I bought a tin to use on my aluminum canoe after I get it cleaned and polished.
