    Hi,

I`ve placed an order on Autopia store, but not sure if I choose the right Q. Detailer. So, I`ll try to swap the sprays if the ordered one is unsuitable.

I`ve ordered "Sonus Carnauba Spritz" spray. I`m using "Einszett Glanz" as LSP, is the "Sonus Carnauba Spritz" good on that, or should I better swap it to "Sonus Acrylic Spritz"?

    Thanks a million

    Yep With this order:

Found a voltage transformer (1000W ~ 9 amp) for $90, going to buy today or tomorrow, and then, let the detailing begin :waxing:

Yes, I hate those insane international shipping charges However, everything is so cheap in America, it`s still cheaper to order a DA polisher + big shipping charge + transformer from USA, than buy a 220 Volt DA in Europe.

    For example, buying from USA:

    Meguiar`s G110: $150 + $63 Shipping + $90 transformer = Total $303

If I would buy from UK:

    Meguiar`s G220: $300 + $40 Shipping = Total $340

(Keep in mind that both of these polishers (Meguiar`s) are absolutely the same, the only difference is voltage, and 100% bigger price).

In my case, I got a chance to order a G110 analogue - UDM refurbished, so: $100 + $63 + $90 = $253 only! I saved $87 buying from USA, than UK (and thats with transformer included).

Congrats on your purchase Domas... I can`t believe shipping was $77.15 but I`m glad it`s still cheaper than purchasing your products from the UK.

Wow, that`s almost as much as Griot`s charges for shipping in the continental US.
If you`re irritated by every rub, how will you be polished?

LOL (about shipping cost comments) I live in Greece so I completely understand Domas. (All detail shops have only the most expensive options available for international shipping )

Domas great order. I hope you have some fun (and real correction) with your new toy.

For the converter it seems to me a little big (not a problem but you probably you could got away with a smaller (and cheaper) one)

Well, the UDM is quite heavy and caused big shipping parcel, that`s why the shipping price is really big. If I was ordering only some detailing products, I think I would have gotten away with $30 or so for shipping.

Deathlok, regarding the converter, that`s the problem - the UDM is 500 Watt, and in my country I only managed to find 30W, 100W, 300W and then 1000W, 2000W etc. converters (no options between 300W and 1000W) 300W converter costs $35, and 1000W is $90. Oh well, more power will come in useful :2thumbs:

I like both QD`s you mentioned. I use the Sonus Acrylic Spritz with the Sonus Acrylic Glanz or Klasse & JW. (I prefer to use acrylics with acrylics & carnaubas with carnaubas) Both are terrific QD`s, IMO. You`ll get plenty of gloss with the Acrylic Spritz & added depth with the Carnauba Spritz. The Sonus product line tends to fly under the radar a bit. I have yet to use a Sonus interior or exterior product that didn`t work extremely well!
