    Update time again.

This is the six month photo update that I have been promising.

I snapped a couple photos in just as evening was about to set in right after a heavy rain. I caught some really cool setting sun on the roof throught the moonlight pearl.

Anyhoo this is six months of PA winter weather, three washes, and multiple salt baths later.

Definitely showing a bit of wear and it has lost that silky creamy feel to the hand. Still gets compliments on the shine and beading though.

Nice. Six months is still a lot better than any other sealant and waxes. I love this stuff.

Very weird, the beading on my wife`s car is no where near that at 3 months. Its good, but much lazier and it isn`t running of the paint as well.

Not flavor of the week. Stuff rocks. Used the Ultima system a while back. Reveiwed it in the forum here.

I specifically liked the Ultima Trim and Tire, Interior Guard, Car Wash, PPP and PGP. I kinda didn`t dig the Elastrofoam and I have used detail sprays I like d better.

I have not yet tried the Ultima carpet shamoo or the new Tire and Trim.

UPGP seems to have survived Omaha`s winter better than any other sealant I`ve tried, as well. I still get awesome beading on top surfaces. The bottoms of the doors (where the salt spray seems to be the worst) aren`t doing *quite* as well (beading more irregular), but better than anything I`ve used in the past.

It`s been 6 months already?! :faint:

    Excellent durability. :up

UPGP seems to be a little under-rated on Autopia.

UPGP is less popular and or may be under rated for a couple reasons IMO.

    - UPGP has to have a very very well prepped finish. It amplifies poor prep work. Thus it is easier to use a product that "hides" these flaws rather than amplifying them.

    - UPGP has a LONG cure time between coats. How many cusomers can put up without their ride for four coats or UPGP at twelve hours plus between coats? Let alone everything that needs to be done to get to the point of the LSP.

    - UPGP is seemingly expensive. People that have not used it yet, just do not understand, how little product it takes to seal an entire vehicle (even on a large vehicle). A bottle of UPGP goes much much farther than any wax and or sealant I have previously used.

    - Speed Even though there are impressive curing times between coats, actually applying a coat takes between five and ten minutes from start to finish (again even on fairly large vehicles). And no buff is required. (*NOTE* I personally like to buff the final coat either by hand with a thick soft MF or with a PC and an ultra-soft no cut pad.)

These are just my observations. I will be staying with Ultima for the long haul. I expect that the customer base will grow as people realize what a revolution this product has proven to be.
    Good driving and good listening!!
