I just wanted to know what kind of consistency Collinite 845 is supposed to have. I got my bottle today and opened it to find it to be almost like water. By the end of the day, it had turned into a thick paste that won`t pour out even when the bottle is upside down. I have to squeeze the bottle if I want to get anything out.

The best way I can tell you is...SHAKE, SHAKE AND MORE SHAKE. The more you shake it the easier it will be to get it out of the bottle.

you can always put it in some warm water for 10-15 minutes to help thin it out...

I fill a cup with warm-hot water and turn it upside down and stick it in that and it melts very quickly. I don`t even have to wait 5 minutes. And then I shake it up, pour what I need onto the pad, and stick it back in the cup. Then I apply via PC and whenever I need more, it`s still thin because I left it in the warm water.

Shaking worked really well. If it thickens up again, I`ll try the hot water trick.

haha welcome to 845! Let`s see what`s the best way to put it. Oh yeah - you need to shake the sh!t out of it.

It`s consistency is great as it spreads easily and goes a LONG way. :woot:

Yeah, getting 845 ready to apply can be a PITA. When it`s cooler out, I do the warm water trick someone mentioned above, then once it`s warm, just shake the heck outta it!

Yep, I do the same thing and it is worth the extra couple minutes getting it ready.
