Is this thing worth the $139. I currently have a rigid shop vac. I does a good job but would like something with more power. Does this fit the bill? Can you use it to vacuum up water?

    Thanks for all replies

No, you can`t use water with it, it`s got a steel can.

The Metro Vac N Blo has 4 HP built into a small machine, this thing is powerful. And for the price at Amazon this thing is a steal. It`ll get hot but it will pick up anything in it`s way.

Just what was said above. I use it in my shop and it`s wonderful and easy to carry around. Instead of dragging a shop vac hose all over the place you just pick up the metro and carry it into the car with you. The motor is so powerful it will torque the machine right out of your hand if you aren`t careful.

Do you find that the 6` hose is enough? Can you buy longer hoses at lowes or home depot that will fit it?

It`s a portable vac that you carry on your shoulder so the 6` hose is plenty long enough. I haven`t had the need to consider getting a longer hose. I have to use an extension cord but that`s about it.

Man, I`m really considering one of these. It`s a real good price.

I`ll add in something too. Metro is an excellent company to deal with if you ever need warranty or service done or have any questions.

What about this one. Looks just like the Metro and goes for half of what the metro goes for.

I have one and love it. I found that I use it more often just because it is so small and not a hassle to bring out. It is worth the money trust me.

The Metro Vac N` Blow is absolutely amazing. IMO, it has more power than I would ever need.
