if FPII isn`t enough??

like the topic says, if FPII doesnt give me the results im looking for. whats my next step?? SIP, IP, Micro or FP???? its a year old silver gti washed/waxed on a regular basis but never polished...cheers

I`d go straight to intense polish.

I take it you are trying to remove swirls?

Did FPII make any improvement at all?

Being silver the swirls may be very deep and still as if the paint has only light swirls.

Go to IP, followed by FPII

If you have a PC, what type of pad are you using with FPII....?

im thinking about starting with FPII and a white pad...try the least aggressive route first.

What kind of pads do you have...?

SIP and IP are more aggressive and work well with orange and white LC pads.....

Ok good, you have a few options. If the swirles are minor like you mentioned earlier you`ll probably be alright. White and and FPII is a good place to start.....

Do you have any other polish on hand.....?

i use KAO by hand, never used it with a PC.... what about a LC blue/red pad??

Your right, that`s pretty mild compared to your Menzerna......

Until you get some other options, your stuck with what you have bro......

Use what you`ve got and hit some panels a few times if necessary and wait until your finished to make any final judgements.....

You just might surprise yourself.....

least abrasive is for those who want to take their time and spend all day long...

I am not saying I use HTEC or PG with a wool pad on every single car, but for a majority of them, they need just a touch under it, but why spend 4 hours polishing with IP and an orange pad when I can do more defect removal faster with wool and HTEC, then still only have to polish one more step to removethe hazing and micromarrring I might end up with...

what I am saying is just get an orange pad or two, and get the car looking right, then hit the car with a white pad with FPII, then grey with FPII....the results will be better and faster than if you sit there all day and try to polish out everything with FPII and a white pad....

dont waste your time....
