OK, I have used different waxes over the past 10 years, but finally tried a new product from a company in Seattle, which would eliminate the need for a wax, and protect my paint up to 2 years. I sealed my car this weekend, and I was blown away by the effect. Water beads like never before, and I still have that shiny, glossy look of my auto paint. If it will last 2 years, I do not know yet, but so far this is amazing. They claim it protecst the paint from bugs, acid rain, UV rays and other stuff. Has anyone else tried the sealant from this company, or tried another product like this. I had never heard about this kind of technology until I found this product.

NO, and I searched the forum before posting to see if anyone had tried something like this, but not a single post. I am only interested to hear if anyone else have experienced these kind of products, and what their initial thoughts were. This post is just like other posts about other products being questioned. No link either (-:

Looks like Ultima might actually have some competition: Nano Products for your house, car and boat

Andrew, how did you first hear about this product?

Product was just released July 16th. $115 for the auto kit. Comes with "Kit consists of: 400ml special cleaner for paint, 75 ml sealing componen1, 75 ml sealing component2, 1 mixing container, 1 cleaning sponge, 2 sealing sponges, 2 polishing towels."

I Googled it. Not sure what to think. I am skeptical of any product with clams that big.

It`s possible for a polymer to have that kind of staying power, but it`s not possible for the UV agent to last that long. Even if the polymer does last two years, the shine won`t. Washing and drying alone will put marks in the paint.

Cleverly disguised though, playing on the "sympathy for the newbie thing", very nice

Smells like spam to me. First two posts, raving about a product that no one talks about on here...pretty obvious.

It could very well be spam, but on the other hand... Let`s say Andy was a lurker for a while then found a great product and noticed that no one else here seemed to know about it. I`ll admit that 99% of the time it would probably be spam, but I hate to lynch the guy for sharing.

Oh great... Now I sound like a spammer... lol

a cars paint would have a hard time looking new for 2 years so how is a liquid product supposed to accomplish this?

Clear coat is a liquid product that gets applied to protect the paint and last for over 2 years. I`m not saying it can`t be true, I would just need more than the manufactures word.

We need like a board of official unbiased testers for new products. Need my address?!?!
