Just don`t listen to the one`s who complain about it not sheeting water when it rains, IT`S NOT SUPPOSED TO. It will sheet though when you flood the paint, as proven in the video that`s on youtube.

I tried it yesterday on a jeep I was doing... Not very impressed. Guess I had different expectations of results. Just didn`t do anything impressive for me.

Yup! The stuff is awesome! Ive never seen a product with this much beading and the sheeting is also great! I would say it removes 90% of the water when you flood it.

Its also amazing how easy the bugs come off the front end when washing. They literally fall off.

Does not add much to the look of the paint, makes paint bead well I guess. AW is just as good for me.

I am not ill for buying it, but AW or OCW works better for the same money.

AW and OCW are waxes and should add something to the paint, comparing a QD to very good spray waxes isn`t a fair comparison.

If you buy it now you can get a $5 rebate, meaning it will cost you $5 to try it for yourself and come to your own conclusion. Might even want to do half the hood w/FCS and the other half w/UQD and see which one looks better and is more durable. I know I`d surely be interested in that comparison!!!

Sorry, sheesh. I think it`s a very fair comparison.

I use AW and OCW just like I would use MUQD. I spray them on the paint as a QD or Spray wax whichever to increase wax protection and gloss.

My understanding of QD`s is that they contain lubricants and are supposed to lift light dust off the finish to provide a light cleaning and provide a slight improvement in gloss (give that just waxed look). However, Spray Waxes are not supposed to have much, if any lubricant in them, which means they are not safe to use on dusty paint.

Though I am a bit confused because many are talking about the beading of MUQD which if it was a pure QD shouldn`t have that effect??

    Someone straitn` me out...

No need to apologize, we`re all gonna have different opinions on things, this board would be awfully boring if we all shared the same thoughts on things.

I agree that they are used in the same way, sprayed out of a bottle and wiped on and off with a towel, but that`s where the similarities end. QD`s were made to allow you to remove light dust and soil without affecting your LSP and without washing the entire vehicle. A spray wax IS your LSP and is not meant to be applied on a surface with light soil and dust on it. I think it would be safe to assume that most, if not all, LSP`s are going to be more durable than QD`s and surely they should add more to the finish in comparison to a QD.

I think a fair comparison would be putting like products, as in QD`s, against each other, products like DG FCS/ClearKote QS/FK 425/Mothers Showtime/4* Gloss enhancer/Pinnacle Crystal Mist/Wolfgang Detail Spritz

Has anyone compared MUQD with FK 425?

I just tried the 425 and I`m totally impressed with the results. The shine over my JW AJT is just amazing. The slickness is really superb too. The way 425 seems to cling to the paint makes application/removal even when you have a little bit of dust on the finish just awesome.

I`d love to hear opinions of MUQD compared to FK425!

Also, another reason for a QD is to increase gloss and slickness which is what a good spray wax does. I myself dont use any spray waxes as LSP`s.

I just feel that a direct competitor to the MUQD would be something like AW. I feel both could add a little protection and shine/slickness. That is just from my findings in the many products I have used in my life.
