hey all, I was just wanting to get some suggestions for a QD that I can get from a store:

NAPA, pepboys, wal-mart, target (I live in the Philly area).

I have never used QD before, but after reading these boards it dawned on me that this would be the perfect product to make my car look great every few days without having to do a full wash.

my car is a bmw 328i that it titansilver in color (bright silver w/ mettalic flake) for reference sake. I liked the sounds of the poorboys version, but I can`t justify the shipping cost when all I need is just one bottle (to see how I like it).

my base consists of the Klasse twins, with (soon to be) an AW topper (every couple weeks)...and I am just looking for a readily available product that gives some nice results. all info will be greatly appreciated, as I am not looking to waste money on inferior products.

    thanks!

My choice for OTC would be Turtle Wax Platinum or Meguiars.

Duragloss Fast Clean and Shine. For OTC, I find it`s every bit as good as Zaino Z6 or other premium QDs.

If you have a Carquest in your area get some DG Fast Clean and Shine. If not I have heard good things about Megs or Turtle Wax Platinum as well.

There are several decent QD`s OTC, however I really like the cleaning action of Meguiar`s.

Another vote for DG Fast Clean and Shine.

It`s the best OTC QD by far IMO.

If you can find a Big Lots that still has

    the Long Haul Truck Gloss

I think it is the best bang for buck out there

32 Oz for $3 give it a try

thanks for the help! since there aren`t any big lots nearby...I`m going to see if I can`t pick up the DG stuff (when I grab my AW). if they don`t have any in store, I`ll look to grab the megs...that would be from pepboys (as far as you guys can remember, right?)

Since I bought ONR for the first time, I don`t QD anymore. It is much safer in my book.

I like the Mother`s QD, though. And a larger bottle of Meguiar`s QD can be had for around $7 saving you some money. For claying I get the less expensive Long Haul.
