Has anyone tried the FK 121 shampoo, Optimums *new formula* shampoo or 1Z PRO Line Auto Glanz Shampoo.

Just looking to try new things....and did not find alot of reviews on the 3 products.

Shampoo / washing products is more important as a detailing product to me than polishing products. I may polish 2-3X a year, but I shampoo at least a week when it`s warm enough.

I think the FK 121 is an APC, not a car wash shampoo

IF you use a foamgun...I highly highly reccomend DP Xtreme Foam. I`ve tried a lot of soaps in my foamgun, and nothing as come close to the amount of foam and lubrication I`ve got with DP Xtreme Foam....You`ll see me rave about this stuff in a few posts...It`s just awesome!

I gave a sample to a fellow autpian, and he said it worked awesome with just the bucket method!

Yes, I do use a foamgun but I care more about the lubricity and harshness

DP Xtreme Foam certainly has a lot of lubricity to it...But to each their own I suppose.

Shampoo to use in my foam gun is one thing that I consider VERY important. I hate using a really good expensive wax only to have it wash off every time I wash my car. I have used megs GC and NXT, zymol auto wash, DP`s extreme, duragloss 901 and prima amigo. I am sticking with the prima amigo just for the fact that my LSP seems untouched by it, it`s slickness and lubricity is much like the duragloss although it`s foam properities are not near of those as DP`s. I figured out how much I would pay for a gallon of regular priced duragloss versus the prima and the prima is actually cheaper at $45 a gallon. Just my few cents worth.

The very best shampoo "I" have used is a 50/50 mix of Prima and Werkstatt.

Carlack Re-Greasing Shampoo is very good. Probably it can`t give you a surface more shiny than Duragloss #901 but is a good alternative.

Then I`d go into my broken-record mode and recommend Griot`s
