Its ironic how Meguiars says beading is sooo unimportant, and now they have a product that promotes it!

In addition, it offers Hydrophobic polymers that produce extreme water beading for those of you looking for water beading as a characteristic.

they`re not saying "oh, with last beading action, they clearly say for those looking for water beading as a characteristic...

I guess its important to consumers who like the look of beading...along with Autopians (although they really know sheeting is better)

Interesting...perhaps an AW like product for Megs? I like the LOOK of NXT, but the durability is not great. Maybe this will help it out. If it does, I am willing to give NXT another run.

If its going to be just like Aquawax in the sense that it has no cleaning abilities, then I think I`ll stick to my halg gallon of Aquawax until it empties.

if theyre calling it a quick detailer, I`d imagine it has some bit of cleaning ability

Yea, but a little bit isn`t enough, considering their Mist n Wipe QD has very good cleanign properties...

After all, QD could mean a quick shine enhancer, quick protection booster, or a quick Cleaner upper...

I`ll eventually try it, I`ll just wait till my Aquawax empties.

It has cleaning ability and a carnauba look. It does bead very well, even a couple rainy weeks after applying over a 6 week old coat of OCW. The sample bottle I have has the distinct NXT scent, don`t know if the production version does too.

I beta tested the product on an untreated hood. Orginally it beaded very well (amazing if you will) but this lasted for about two days. On the the third day the beading had went to about 30 percent of its orginal ability.

If you are looking for a quality quick detailer that applies easily with minimal streaking, then this is a very nice choice. Meguiars asked me to evaluate this product honestly for them, so the only thing I noticed was that it was only good for a handful of days before the water beading left the scene.

Again, if you are looking for something that is easy to apply and work in then this a great product. I don`t think it was designed to last a long time and I don`t think it will boost the protection for more then a couple days.
