Has anyone done a side by side or has used both of these products? Interested in looks, durability and slickness comparisons.

Here, but it is unsure if he had the final production version of Opti-seal:

I hear that they are both similar in the fact that they are both wipe on and walk away sealants. I hear that Zaino`s clear seal pretty much gives you the exact look that you had before application, and just seals in that look. I also hear that it has a longer life and seems to still be doing well after 6 months. I have NO personal experience with Zaino CS. I just wrote pretty much the points that I have seen be made by posters whom I believe are not biased and do not have any product agenda`s.

I have personal experience with Optimums Opti-Seal. I have put it in both of my cars now. No one know for sure how long Opti-Seal will last in reference to Clear-Seal as it has only been out for a few days now. I can say from personal experience that Opti-Seal does add a glossy and wet finish to your paint after application. Again, I would reiterate that no one knows exactly how long it will last and how durable it is in real world application vs. Clear Seal.

Both products seem to be well made from respected companies. If you really want to know, I would just order both and try yourself. That is really the only way to determine which product is BEST FOR YOU. Good luck!

Zaino clear seal adds more gloss to the paint for me. Even on white.

Compared to OS or just adds more than was before? I have used both. I have spoken that CS did not work for me, but that is just my opinion. I have also shown pics of OS on white and in my opinion it blew away the way CS looked on my car. It adds so much more depth and wetness, that I was completely shocked.

I have a sample of OS on the way for testing and analysis. From what Anthony has told (wrote) me is that if your paint is in optimum" presentation condition there is not visual difference between the 2 products. If your paints requires a "boost" there will be a positive enhancement. Until I can test side-by-side I will have to go with Anthony`s statement.

Can`t wait to see what reality presents and from from the aspect of durability and appearance retention.

I would have to agree. My white Escalade is still holding on strong after 6 months. So much so I keep putting off doing my Spring full detail.

I`m looking forward to possibly having a cheaper version of a CS product than CS. I will say that there is nothing like Zaino CS that I`ve tried. Leaving the fact that it`s a leave alone product aside, there is just nothing as wet as CS that I`ve tried. It absolutely brings out the wetness and gloss, even over a nuba. Again, I hoping to try Optimum`s if it`s cheaper, they both look like great products. I`m sure we will see many companies try and duplicate this.

Other than application, I find them to be completely different products.

I`ll be getting my OS tomorrow. I just washed my car today, so I might slap some on half of my hood, and the other half Z-CS.

I will probably use an AIO like Zaino on my hood, but I don`t want to give Z-CS a boost against OS since I use Zaino. I guess I might have to use a polish of some sort and then slap OS and Z-CS on the hood to be fair.

IMO, my TL with Z-CS is the best thing since GPS LOL!

Z-CS holds up for me so well that it`s gonna be tough for me to use something different in place of Z-CS.

Question... Can you put OS on top of Z-CS? I never received a straight answer.

I used CS over 10 day old ZAIO and 1x Z2pro on my white legend. It added gloss to the finish for sure, for me anyway....

True... I get a little more wet glossy look when Z-CS cures. It`s so similar too Z-2pro IMO.

I just want to see if OS can make my Anathracite go......
