Sorry, no room for the PB`s or XMT. If you like the XMT line, just vote Pinnacle twins. If you like PB`s, just post a reply in here haha.
Well, many of the compounds you have listed are rather iffy to use with a PC. If there`s a question as to how I voted, I suggest you check your pulse.

But let`s also make this a discussion thread. Tell me what has and mainly has not worked for you via PC. Thanks bud. :hifive:
i liked the pinnacle twins on my black firebird that wasn`t in too bad shape. topped with poorboy`s ex it was incredible. but on my persimmon red explorer, the opti combo topped with max wax is niiiiice.
I`m basically looking for what compounds/polishes will breakdown effectively with only the heat a PC can generate. And any warnings for products not well suited to a PC.
#85, PG and HT EC are all suspect for hazing unless you`re using a 4 inch pad. It`s my thoughts that when you get to that point that it`s rotary time.

tough one depending on the finish and if it high solid or low. All 3 are my favorites and it is hard to pick a favorite.
Presta
Menzerna

I`d take those claims with a grain of salt. The part that isn`t explained is what machine, what pad and what skill to meet those claims.

seems like Menzerna has a big win over here. Now the real question for me is who is offering the best deal for Menzerna products? I`d like to order some to test out on my Land Rover discovery.
For PC, I`d say that Mother`s Power Polish is probably the easiest to use.
I really like the XMT line.
What if the Hokey Pokey IS what it`s all about???

Probably no surprise that I voted 1Z. Not the right stuff for everyone, but I probably recommend it more than anything else do to the user-friendliness/effectiveness trade-off. People who need something else (for any of the conceivable reasons) usually don`t want/need my advice on what polish to buy
Now if the old 3M PI-III stuff were on the list that might`ve made for a tough choice...
Oh, and yeah spoiledman is right- the H-T aggressiveness index seems *AWFULLY* optimistic, their products always seem pretty mild compared to what I was expecting based on the product lit copy.
You can do some mighty aggressive work with the PC using 4" pads and 1z Ultra/Extra and/or H-T EC, and the two products mixed (just a little of the 1Z for more work time) is a combo that`s worked well for me.
Thanks Accumulator. Do you find that a product like HTEC works ok on its own though? I`m basically struggling to find that *best* swirl/scratch removal product for PC for the money. I hear good things one day about Meg`s 83, then next day, someone says Optimum, or Menzerna, etc. I just want to get opinions on what cuts, and does it in the easiest way possible for *most* paints.
