It`s been awhile since I bought a stash but mine does need renewing, so I`m on the hunt for new MF`s - polish, buff, glass, drying, u Name it. These old ones are going to related to door jambs, wheels, etc.

It seems like the shak has most of all I need but then again, he also has some sizes not really offered when I bought MF`s.

What SIZES do you find most useful in general as well ? dunno is those 16x24`s are too big for overall use....

    Suggestions, brands , recommendations welcome.

The ACC combo seems like a pretty good deal as well

I agree, their cobra deluxe towels are real nice. I also like the ones I got from CG`s, although their CHUBBY towels didn`t turn out as CHUBBY as I expected. Still really good towels though and so are their Elite Deluxe (yellow and black ones), and good prices too.

I just got a few from Danase which are great. His blue ultra plush towel is virtually the same as the Cobra Deluxe Jr. and they are a dollar cheaper right now. I haven`t had the chance to use it, but his waffle weave towel is really soft.

These bright green ones from Excell are the thickest, plushest and softest I have used. I only have 4 of them, but plan on getting several more. Extreme Green Super Plush Microfiber 12x16

tyoung, I`m sure that towel is a quality towel, but can you tell me how that size (12x16) is working for you?

What do you look for in a microfiber towel? The number of strands per square inch. A soft plush pile. And "a dual pile weave, one side has long fibers and the other short fibers. The long fiber side works great in quick detail and waterless car wash applications where dirt needs to be carried away from the paint surface. The short fiber side is great for buffing away polish and wax residue, and cleaning windows." Now when you bring all those together you have a fine ALL purpose towel that skips on nothing! ZOOM-ZOOM

I mostly use them for QD`ing and for applying spray waxes, which I do all the time, they work great for that. They are a bit small for drying, but I have other larger towels for that.
