To say or even suggest that DG products are the equivalent of 1950`s technology is simply the most innacurate info in this thread. The newest DG products (105 and AW) are FAR and ABOVE better than anything else going OTC, and better than 99% of the "boutique" products that can only be found online. The AW and 105 are brand new formulations and for a spray wax that offers nearly 3 months durability on its own, with outstanding ease of use and looks to boot, is FAR from 1950`s technology. Show me another $7 product currently on the market that works as well and protects as well!!!
I understand you all are loving the new Zaino, but to suggest DG is that far off, is quite simply ridiculous. I have used Zaino for more years than many of the people here, and can make accurate comparisons between the two. I can tell you that the newest DG products are far from "out of date" technology. Yes, the CS offers benefits that no other product, including DG, currently offers, but that doesn`t make it lightyears better than other products. Some of you seem to be suggesting that DG can`t hold a candle to Zaino shine and durability. Well, I`d put a coat of 105+AW against any of the Z products any day of the week, and I wouldn`t have to worry one bit that I lack any protection or shine offered from those products that are "lightyears" ahead!

I will admit that a camera can not pick up the added glow that CS provides. I have tried for days and the pics looks great and stunning, but it will not capture the radiant glow that CS provides. It`s something you will have to see and experience in person. I guess we will all have to wait till the 40 Mega pixel cameras come out to capture this glow!
Well, I couldn`t wait any longer, so last evening I S&W`d my hood and trunk and applied CS.
On the hood I either applied it too thick, or the surface was still too warm because it streaked pretty badly. Even after an hour it did not dry, so, a little while later I shot it with some Z6 and it wipped up to a nice glossy finish.
On the trunk I made sure to use sparingly and it went on real well, then I followed up with a shot of Z8, and it too glossed up real nicely. We don`t have any sun shinning around here, so I can`t get the full effect, but we are expecting some rain today so I`ll see how the beading action is..
I applied CS on top of 476S.
Have Fun!

Yes, pictures of LSPs are often difficult to discern on the internet, especially when different products have been applied to the same car on different days. Try as one might, it just isn`t possible to always capture the exact angle, sun, and lighting in the shots...... especially if the shot of a previous LSP was taken at a different time of year.
All I can do is use the pictures as a rough guide and read what the poster thinks from his experience seeing them both in person. The eyewitness report might be a more valid gauge than the pictures, but everyone loves to see pictures. Anyway, that`s how I look at it (pun intended ).

CS made my metallic paint pop out even more in the sunlight. I used this pic for my sig on other forums.....
I tried CS on my ES roof recently and it made my metallic silver pop more as well. It`s indeed very clear.

Someone want to setup and or take this Pepsi Challenge?
I’m willing to bet that if we took the top 10 active posters from this board and asked them to distinguish from looks which product was applied to each sample…….the accumulative end result would be about a 50% accuracy rate.
Which interestingly enough are the exact odds one would have for guessing which is which.
Coke or Pepsi boys?

lol as usual all zaino threads turn out this way, it really is sad

Like I said, you would think that the Zaino users were debating politics or stem cell research or abortion the way they are so strong willed that it is the best and nothing is even close. Very close minded. But there are a few of us that think there products were great until they found some other stuff....but people have to realize that some people love the look and some people really dont.

Let`s perform this test 16 weeks out after weekly washing and no QD`ing and see what the results would be.:grinno:
