Fobia, your car has some very nice gloss and the depth is very apparent. How long ago was the Z5pro and CS done? Do you drive it daily?

I dont dispute that tons of people like their products and think they are the best out there. I personally love Z-5 pro. I like the ease of use of CS as well. But overall shine I dont think is the best out there. I just get sick and tired if someone disputes it or does not like it "the best", they get beat down by the "z heads" that they "must be doing something wrong" or they are crazy.

For those who need an example of how a product discussion should be orchestated. Here is an example.

    http://autopia.org/forum/click-brag/...souveraen.html

No injections about pricing, no "my" product looks better, no negative feedback about appearance that may not meet the views criteria of beauty, no mention about durability or lack of, etc.

I agree, but it is hard with these threads in that everytime someone says something in anything contradiction with Z products, you get lambasted with "you are doing it wrong".

But that wasn`t a product discussion, that was just "look, I detailed this car" and "wow, that looks nice".

It`s more than a bit like religion. There is the Zaino religion, the Meg`s religion, the CG`s religion, Pb`s, DG, etc. The followers range from devout to not-so-devout, from the "I`ll only use XYZ products" to the "supermarket *insert religion here*`s" who pick and choose what parts of their faith to observe. Some faithful allow others the pursuit of their own faith, while others insist that all conform, and bristle at the suggestion that their faith isn`t the only "true" one or that their scripture or customs are being interpreted incorrectly or disrespected. And of course there are those that have lost faith or changed theirs.

There`s room in the world for all faiths. Sometimes I think you Z-heads should talk Sal into hosting a forum on his site, where all but the Z-word is verboten...I guess that would be "heaven". :chuckle:

    YUP!

That is an excellent example of a pat on the back for a fine job done and with a blend of productsĂ¢â‚¬¦..itĂ¢â‚¬â„¢s not even close to a Ă¢â‚¬Å“discussion about productĂ¢â‚¬.

AlsoĂ¢â‚¬¦.most of the products used in that detail have been around for awhileĂ¢â‚¬¦their subjective performance has been tested by a mass of different people with different value perspectives (not by a chosen few).

One of the reason that other brands or products sayĂ¢â‚¬¦.SouverĂƒ¤n may not generate such frequent Ă¢â‚¬Å“heated discussionsĂ¢â‚¬ is due to the lack of fanatical push from the users of the product.

There are plenty of SouverĂƒ¤n users who are passionate about Ă¢â‚¬Å“theirĂ¢â‚¬ results from using Ă¢â‚¬Å“their favoriteĂ¢â‚¬ but I donĂ¢â‚¬â„¢t see frequent Ă¢â‚¬Å“fanatical beat downsĂ¢â‚¬ like I see when discussing Zaino products.

There is a difference in being Exuberant or Passionate and being a fanatic.

Personally, I donĂ¢â‚¬â„¢t speculate on what I perceive to be fanatic opinions, or those opinions being attached to ulterior motives, or monetary alliancesĂ¢â‚¬¦it would be point less for me to speculate on hidden agendas.

If an opinion is driven by hidden agendas or by a fanatical mentality it will generally sound the same.

    Regards

    RET

That is just it with Z Heads. They only want a "pat on the back" and never anyone to question or not like the product.

Y`know, speaking strictly as a moderator, I freakin` hate when Zaino releases new products or makes updates to old stuff. Talk about threads full of sound and fury . . . and from both sides of the argument, too! To expand on Setec`s analogy, the fundamentalists on both sides could stand to mellow out and go wax something. We have some who are devoted to Z, we have some from the Church of Anti-Zaino Backlash, and I wish y`all would just bury the damn hatchet, already.

Just find products you like to use and use em! There are enough neglected and bad detailers out there.

They are very fun to drive. Seats my 8 year old too. It looks better than that phone camera can take plus I am not a photographer sp...... The CS mutes the flake in it just a little but it makes it up in depth and shine.
